Our mission
An Indian wedding is often the largest single spend a family makes after a home, yet most of the information online is written to sell you something. Venue listings hide the per-plate price, "packages" leave out taxes and décor, and budget advice rarely says which city or guest count it assumes.
WeddingStreet.in exists to fix that. We are an independent wedding intelligence site: we research what things actually cost, show our assumptions, and give you free tools to work out your own numbers. No login, no lead forms hidden behind a "get quote" button, and no vendor pays to change what we write.

Our calculators
Seven free calculators sit at the heart of the site: budget, savings, food, alcohol, venue size, guest stay and invitations. Each one publishes its assumptions and methodology on How we estimate. They give planning estimates, not quotations — always confirm final prices with vendors in writing.
How we make money
We want to be upfront about this. WeddingStreet.in may earn money from clearly labelled advertising, sponsored placements marked "Sponsored", and affiliate links where we earn a small commission if you buy through them. None of these change our estimates, rankings or editorial opinions. Vendors cannot pay to be reviewed, to remove criticism or to appear in our "fictional example" sections. The team
Our small editorial team combines wedding planners, venue researchers and a dedicated fact-checker. Every page carries a named author, and every page with prices or capacities is checked by a reviewer before it goes live. Meet them on our authors page.
