Yaay! Finally, the photos are out!
Yes! The most awaited photographs of the year have been breaking the internet for a few hours now. You guessed it right! The royal wedding photos of Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding photos have taken over the Cyberspace through social media. Within a span of just 30 minutes, Deepika and Ranveer's wedding posts have crossed the 1 million mark already. Currently, the experienced wife Anushka Sharma, who once enjoyed the feeling of having the 'Wedding of the Year', herself, welcomed DeepVeer into the 'marriage' club. Anushka tweeted, "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love & respect you have in each other, growing leaps and bounds. And welcome to the club. The social media active couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to officially post their photographs and posted two pictures from the two different wedding ceremonies and captioned their photo with a heart emoticon.
Yesterday Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married as per Konkani rituals and today they tied the knot as per Sindhi customs. The duo also took pheras and also exchanged the wedding vows in the presence of their family members and close friends at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. The Internet is full of blessings and wishes showered from Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Madhuri Dixit and Nimrat Kaur who wished the newlyweds through their social media accounts. Twitterati, as usual, started bursting with wishes as well as with hilarious tweets. "Sirf 2 pics upload karenge social media pe, zyada memes nahin banenge phir#DeepVeerKiShaadi," tweeted a user.
The gorgeous diva Deepika was looking as stunning as ever in both her wedding ceremonies. She went quite easy on the makeup and quite heavy on jewellery. The stylish bride chose traditional red outfits for both - Konkani and Sindhi weddings and there is definitely a glimpse of Padmaavat in her Sindhi wedding avatar. Like Anushka and Sonam, Deepika also chose Sabyasachi for her big day. "Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava" was embroidered in fine gold detailing on her dupatta. For the Konkani wedding, Deepika chose to wear a deep gold silk saree with shaded orange and red tones. She smartly accessorised her traditional attire with temple jewellery, a mang tikka, heavy gold jhumkas and layered necklaces. With her hair pulled back, the bride opted for dark smokey eyes and nude lips.
Meanwhile, for the Sindhi ceremony, Deepika chose to wear a traditional red lehenga with a large mang tikka and nathani. However, the highlight of the photos shared by the actress on her Instagram handle is the huge diamond on her finger. By the looks of it, Deepika's wedding ring looks like a radiant cut diamond with two small diamonds on the side. Ranveer was always a fashion freak and style model. So, he was also in limelight in a red sherwani for Sindhi wedding and white one for the Konkani wedding. The white one was a simple attire with golden embroidery and matched with a white and golden dhothi.
Stay tuned for more updates.
