Wedding gowns are a new craze among the Indian brides, especially Christian brides. Though the brides who belong to other religions still prefer to wear a traditional outfit for their wedding ceremony, they don't hesitate to pick a western kind of gown when it comes to the wedding reception.

To get the look perfect you need to accessorise it perfectly; a simple neck ornament will be enough for it. At the same time, you should pick one that will go perfectly with your gown's neckline.

Don't worry if you are not sure about the type of neck accessory that goes well with what kind of neckline, we are here to help you.

According to stylists, the longer type of necklaces goes well with any kind of neckline. If you want to explore more options then follow these simple style rules.

If you are wearing a V-neck dress then a simple short chain and pendant will look great with the dress.  If it is a closed V-neck type of dress then you should wear a longer non-pendant type chain with it. It is better to stay away from a choker as it would shorten your neck area.

Those who are petite wear a chain which would end on the bustline, and if you belong to the plus size category then keep the chain length long.

For deep V-neck layered strands are the best option. The layers should fill the space created by a plunging neckline.

If the gown has boat neck, then wear a mid-length chain which would end below the bustline. The boat neckline would attract attention to the shoulders and be accessorising the gown with a choker would make the area look crowded, so you should wear the long chain.

If your gown has a scoop neck then you can make it majestic with a choker. A multi-strand necklace, Y necklaces and large pendants will also look great with scoop necks.

If your choice is an off-shoulder gown then again chokers are your perfect choice for jewellery. But you should leave a half-an-inch of space between the necklace and the neckline.

It is better to stay away from large necklaces if your gown has a collared button-down shirt neckline. If a neck accessory is a must for you then wear an under the collar simple necklace, but remember to leave enough space between the necklace and the neckline.

For a sweetheart neckline then wear a simple choker or a princess length necklace.
