Here are some useful tips that would help to maintain your mane in good condition.

Wash your hair if it is wet from the drizzle as rain water is not that clean and contains dust particles and these things will damage your hair.

The weather is damp and if you are washing your hair regularly then don't apply excessive oil as it would result in breakouts. If oiling is really important to you then please use a good but mild and deep cleansing shampoo to wash it off and apply conditioner to soften your mane. And also a good oil massage once in a week will nourish your hair.

Make sure that your hair products are free from sulphate and paraben.

A wide tooth comb is your best friend during the monsoon as it would help to detangle your hair and stops breaking of hair.

Don't forget to eat foods that are rich in protein, iron and omega 3 such as salmon, whole grains, carrots, kidney beans etc... They will strengthen your hair follicles. Drink a lot of water it is not just good for hair but also good for your skin.

It is also better if you stop trying any hair treatments that involve chemicals. Another thing to avoid during the monsoon period is applying henna to the hair. It will further dry your hair and lead to breakage.

Try home remedies such as applying aloe vera juice, gooseberry juice, fenugreek paste etc to get strong and healthy hair during the monsoon.
