South Indian actress Saranya Mohan and Dr. Aravind Krishnan got married in Alappuzha on Sunday, 6th September. The wedding took place at Kottankulangara Devi Temple in the presence of family and close friends.

The harmonic reception was attended by many Mollywood celebrities. Saranya, who is known for her role in "Yaaradi Nee Mohini", confirmed the news about her relationship with Aravind, through her Facebook account on 12 July. Saranya said her husband and in-laws don’t expect her to stop acting post marriage, though she wants to focus more on dance and music after marriage.

Born to classical dancers, Mohan, and Kalamandalam Devi, Saranya made her debut in films as a child artist and later appeared as a supporting actress in Fazil's "Oru Naal Kanavu" in 2005. Saranya is a trained Bharatanatyam performer.She has worked in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu industries.

 

Her performance in Dhanush-Nayantara- starrer won her a nomination for Filmfare Best Tamil Supporting Actress award and Vijay Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2008.Some of Ssaranya's best films are Eeram, Bheemili Kabbadi Jattu, Chemistry and Nadakame Ulakam. She has also worked in the Hindi film Badlapur Boys.
