He shared some pictures of the happy couple and captioned it:-  "#Chaisam It's official now. My mother is my daughter now. Couldn't be happier!! more pics to come". The 'My mother is my daughter now' refers to the movie Manam which saw the three generations of the Akkineni family together on screen; in which Samantha played Nagarjuna's mother in the flashbacks.

The beautiful actress was looking stunning in a Kresha Bajaj saree and her fiance was in a formal suit.  The couple has worked together in three films and it was on the sets of Autonagar Surya they fell in love.

Nagarjuna's younger son Akhil has also got engaged in December last year to Shriya Bhupal, a fashion designer and grand-daughter of businessman GV Krishna Reddy, founder of the GVK group of companies.
