Morning Skin care routine for a perfect glow

Feb 22 2018     By Wedding Street

As a bride, you will discover time to go to beauty salons for facials and other hair and skin care treatments. But, a daily routine is a must to maintain the benefits of those tan removals and spas. Follow-ups are the saviors of any skin polishing management. You tend to ignore the skin, as you focus more on weight loss habits for getting into that perfect wedding attire. You do crash diets and eat unhealthily or starve, which directly reflects on your skin. You believe that regular visits to beauty parlors alone can make our skin perfect. And you give the burden of looking the best to your wedding day beautician. But, whether it's your wedding or not, some simple skin care habits can make your skin look healthy and beautiful. This will take less than half an hour on a daily skincare routine.

1. Work Out

The first thing to do after you wake up is awaken your skin. Give a Good Morning massage to your face and you are good to go!  I mean, to the  gym.  Some cardio and weight training five days a week should not have any excuses.  You should be able to dedicate at least 20-30 minutes every day for working out. Make exercise a part of your life so that not only your body, but your skin will also say 'Thank You'.  This will give you that natural glow which your  pseudo ayurvedic face wash promises you.

2. Hydrate

Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Carry a water bottle in your handbag, wherever you go. Your skin needs a lot of water to retain its flexibility and texture. Whether you have a dry skin or oily, hydration is the best treatment you could ever think of. This will prevent the visit of uninvited guests like zits and pimples. This will make you ready to face the stress you have to handle the whole day.  This  will help you for a  perfect bowel movement which in turn gifts a great skin. If you think you may forget to drink water in your busy schedule, there are mobile apps to remind you the same and give you a track of your water intake.

3. Cleanse

Washing your face should be the first step in your skincare routine. You can use a gel/ water  based face wash if you have an oily skin. If dry skin is what bothers you, go for a creamy face wash. If you have any special issues to be taken care of like pimples, use a chemical free face wash. Make sure you have a separate towel  exclusively for your face. Never use a bath towel to wipe your face which can give room for dandruff or dirt to enter your skin. This should be repeated at bedtime too for ensuring a makeup-free skin.

4. Exfoliate

That strong scrub by the parlour folks  during a clean up or facial, makes you feel heaven. But, did you know that exfoliating regularly can save you from the extreme pain of blackhead removal? Not only your face, but your whole body needs exfoliation to remove those embedded dust and open the pores. You can use a facial scrub once in 3 days and a body scrub, once in a week.  You can see the difference in suppleness of your skin in less than a month. You can select a scrub of your choice or make a natural scrub yourself  with coffee and sugar to exfoliate.

5. Moisturise

Always  remember to moisturise your skin. Apply a moisturising cream all over your body. This will make sure that your skin stays hydrated. Even if you have an oily skin, you need to use a moisturiser. You can wisely chose the ingredients or texture of the cream, as per your skin requirements. There are moisturisers available for every skin types in the market. You have separate moisturisers for face and body. There is no harm in using body lotions as hand creams. You don't need to invest separate for hands/legs. But for face, you can buy the best ones.

6. Sunscreen

Sunscreen with SPF 25 or above is a must for your skin care. Sunscreen should be reapplied every 3hours for complete protection. Apply all over the exposed parts of your body as per your attire. This will not only prevent tanning, but also protects your skin from harmful radiations which can even cause cancer.  This should be the priority in your make up regime , so that your skin remains healthy all through the day.
