Popular web series that rocked the internet a few years back 'Permanent roommates' fame Sumeet Vyas has found and owned his permanent roommate at Jammu on Saturday. Sumeet has married Ekta Kaul, who is also the heartthrob of the television industry for quite a long time now. The duo has given a shock to the fans once they declared their engagement a month ago. From then, online media has celebrated the lovebirds who more often shared a piece of their life online.
The couple had a traditional wedding with friends and family. When Ekta was no less than a princess in her maroon embellished lehenga, Sumeet was also charming like a prince in his cream sherwani. The marriage invitation card was as unique as the couple. The wedding invite read ' Holy sh*t! Sh*t just got real ' was shared by the card designer online. On commenting on the same, Sumeet said that it is a reflection of him and he did not want a regular boring one, instead a quirky and simple card is what he wished for. Ekta was also happy with the card and they unanimously chose the selected one. She as a writer went ahead with the amazing content. The functions began on 13 of September with Sangeet, Haldi, Mehndi and all other traditional wedding rituals.
On proposing Ekta, Sumeet was the real thug by gifting her the wrong size which is so much expected from him. He said that ' Ekta is a beautiful person and he didn't want her to change her mind and that is why he popped the question very soon after a few months of dating. Their love story struck the point when Ekta drove him back on his bullet after Holi celebrations when he had some bhang and was not set to drive. This drive literally drove him crazy and he needn't think again to choose her as his partner forever. But, they had to take a small break when she left back to Jammu. On asking about this being his second marriage, after his divorce with Shivani Tanksale, he admitted that he was sceptical in the beginning about falling in love again. But, he said that it was all worth the risk.
The ' Veere Di Wedding' actor became popular with a web series Permanent Roommates where he played a character named Mikesh. He has acted in around 25 films in Bollywood and about 10 series in television/ online presence is there to his credit. His recent is Ribbon with Radhika Apte and he also shared the screen with her before in the series of Rabindranath Tagore stories. Ekta grabbed the hearts of television fans through Rab se Sohna Ishhq and after that in Mere Angane Mein as the lead role, Riya Mathur. She was also a part of Box Cricket League and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, a dance reality show.
