A holiday trip for this Austrian couple became a honeymoon after the man proposed to his girlfriend mid-air and surprised her with a wedding.
Jürgen Bogner, 36, who has been in a relationship with Nathaly Eiche, 28, for the past five years executed his plan with the help of Austrian Airlines.
The love birds were on their way for a vacation to Athens, Greece, and he surprised his lady love mid-air by popping the question with a ring while the people around them started singing 'Marry You' by Bruno Mars. As the delighted bride said yes, he surprised by arranging a wedding then and there itself.
The wedding was complete with a wedding gown, bouquet, wedding bands, cake, a violinist and an officiant to perform the wedding ceremony.
The girlfriend who was totally unaware of what was going around her was again surprised to see her family members in the flight. They were actually sitting in the back of the plane hidden from her view.
The bride was walked down the aisle (well, sort of as there wasn't much space to walk together) by her father. Meanwhile, the other passengers on the flight were also in a way became a part of the wedding feast (cake and a glass of champagne) and also received a party favour after the ceremony.
The newlyweds later clicked pictures with the passengers and the crew. They later proceeded towards their honeymoon in Athens.
