Ishant Sharma gets engaged

Indian pacer Ishant Sharma got engaged to basketball player Pratima Singh in New Delhi on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Ishant and Pratima, whose siblings are also basketball players, have been friends for quite some time.

Pratima's eldest sister Priyanka is a basketball coach based in Patiala, while her sister Prashanthi was the captain of the national basketball team and her another sister Akansha is also a member of the national team.

Though the engagement function was a very private affair, the tall Indian pacer later shared his engagement photo on social media.

Ishant is preparing for the Indian team's forthcoming West Indies tour.
