Meet Nowfee Shameer, a Kochi-based mehendi artist who with her professional skills and dedication has created many stunning henna designs that have adorned the hands and feet of numerous brides.

 

Nowfee started her journey by applying beautiful designs at her friends and relatives' weddings as her clientele list started to swollen she decided to learn the art of mehendi designing professionally and there has been no looking back for her since then.

 

She has years of experience and a long list of satisfied clients to prove her success story.

For years she has been working along with many prominent event/wedding planners and makeup artists, including Impresario, Tamarind Weddings, Ergo Consulting, Sobha Kunjan, Lakme etc. Even though being a professional henna artist, her quest for bettering her skills is still on and she recently attended a 10 days mehendi design workshop at Mumbai which helped her learn the latest trends and techniques in floral designs.

 

Earlier, when she started Arabic designs were the hot favourite among the brides, but it has been now replaced by traditional Indian designs, motifs and floral designs. It is not only the brides who have been mesmerised by her artistic skills even the wedding guests stand in line patiently to adorn their hands with the amazing designs Nowfee creates.

 

Being a through professional she also makes sure that her clients won't fall victims to skin allergies or rashes that certain type of chemicals present in the ready to use mehndi cause. To solve the problem she uses only herbal mehendi cones that are prepared at home.
