Are you a soon-to-be bride who has skin problems and worried that it will spoil your upcoming wedding day? Well, don't worry nobody is perfect. If you have skin problems then there are ways to solve it.

You don’t have to find solace in expensive creams and cosmetics to get that glowing complexion which you long for. By eating a well-balanced nutritious diet you can possess a healthy, blemish free, younger looking skin.

Stop eating junk foods like pasta, cakes and food that have too much salt and sugar. These food items could damage your skin. And also keep away from alcohol and cigarettes (if you have an addiction).

But ingredients in some of the foods given below would help your skin to exfoliate, rejuvenate and also would keep the wrinkles away.

They have lycopene which protects your skin from sun damage. Lycopene is the antioxidant compound that gives watermelon and tomatoes their red colour.

Green tea

Drinking green tea or applying it on your face is good for your skin. It is high in antioxidant polyphenols which would act as a protective agent against the adverse effects of UV radiation.

It is another food item which you could also apply on your skin. It helps the skin to create more collagen and speed up healing.

Like watermelon tomatoes also have lycopene which prevents sun damage and prevents the skin from sagging.

They have vitamin C that boosts production of collagen fibres that would help the skin to remain smooth and firm. It also lowers your risk of cancer.

Are you avoiding it because you are afraid of accumulating fat? Then here is good news for you, the fatty acids found in fishes would act as a natural moisturiser.

This protein rich food helps to repair damaged skin cells. It also contains biotin, an important vitamin that protects the skin from getting dry.

This food item provides Omega-3 fatty acids which make your skin smoother and looks younger. It also adds that shining glow to your hair.

Almonds boost the level of vitamin E in your body. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant which helps to keep your skin healthy and moisturised.

This fruit has biotin, which prevents dry skin and brittle hair and nails. You can also apply it on your face and to hydrate damaged skin.
