Couple caught up in traffic has their first dance on highway

Have you ever thought about what you will do if you get stuck in a heavy traffic while en route to your own wedding? Well, it will definitely speed up your heart beats, especially if you are a Hindu bride/groom. Remember we have to tie the knot within the auspicious time.

A couple from the US Jeff and Rebecca Payne had a similar experience on their wedding day. Luckily (not sure of that) the couple were stuck in the traffic on their way to the wedding reception hall (normally a 10 minute drive) not the actual ceremony.

They were stalled along with the wedding party for an hour in a giant traffic block caused by an accident. While they were in the car a fellow motorist spotted them and suggested to do their first dance then and there itself.

The wedding party too loved the idea and after their persuasion, the couple got out of the car and did a slow dancing to Alison Krauss’ “When You Say Nothing At All,” which one of the bystanders played for them through a car stereo.

While the newlyweds and the wedding party enjoyed the dance other motorists watched and filmed the happy couple taking one of the first steps into their new life.

The couple was finally freed from the gridlock when one of the friends of the groom's father pulled up in the opposite lane and took them to the wedding reception.
