Colourful Bridal Wear is the New Trend

Nov 7 2018     By Asha Parvathy

White or ivory colours are considered as the ideal colours for a Christian bride. According to many, the origin of the custom of the bride wearing white is attributed to the royal wedding of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert. It was said that the colour white symbolises chastity and virginity of the bride.

The new bridal colour soon found many followers and later became the standard colour for bridal wear.

But nowadays, many brides as part of liberating themselves from these age-old customs have shown courage to include other colours into their wedding attire.

The latest to this trend is the addition of dip-dyed and ombré wedding dresses which are in multicolour.

Here is a collection of such exclusive wedding gowns. Enjoy and get inspired.
