Are you getting married in the winter season? If yes then you need to take special care of your skin.

 

The biggest skin problems that winter brides face, especially in Indian climate, are chapped lips, dry skin and cracked heels. You need to overcome all these skin troubles to look great on your wedding day. Here are a couple of tips to look fabulous on your wedding day.
 

You need to keep yourself dehydrated during the winter season too. Don't hesitate from drinking 2 to 3 litres of water just because you are not sweating. You still need to drink water to keep your skin supple. But you need to start all these weeks before the wedding as like your wedding your skin also needs time to prepare.

 

Choose personal care products that are more suitable to the winter season.

Rinse your skin with lots of lukewarm water at night before going to bed. Use a mild cleansing gel or cream to remove dirt.


An expert tip from Shahnaz Husain is to apply cold milk and vegetable oil mix to clean your skin.


Mix half a cup of cold milk and five drops of any vegetable oil. Store this mix in a bottle and shake well. Apply it on the face and use cotton to cleanse the face. You could keep the rest of the mix in a refrigerator. Those with normal to the dry skin could use this combination to cleanse the skin.

For those with oily skin, she recommends rice flour and curd mix. Apply this mixture and rub gently. Wash it off with water later.

 

Mix a teaspoon glycerin with 100 ml rose water. Keep the solution in the refrigerator. Apply it on your face occasionally it will relieve dryness and will keep acnes away. Another natural solution to keep your skin moisturised is to apply aloe vera gel and honey combination on your skin and after about 20 minutes wash it off with water.

Keep your diet in check. Include more nutrient rich foods, nuts and seeds into your diet. Fatty fishes such as tuna and salmon should be included in your diet. Avoid too much sugar and salt. Say no to aerated drinks.

 

Also, don't forget to relax and practice some yoga. It will definitely reflect on your skin.
