Hey Girl, Congratulations on your wedding. With every passing day, are you feeling that you are screaming at everyone including your man unnecessarily? We are in a land where the wedding is considered the most luxurious and important event in one's life. Everything from the venue to guests has to be pre-planned and organized well ahead. Still, there can be numerous things that can go wrong. So, it is perfectly normal to be panic when your D-day approaches. After all, you have that dream of fairytale wedding where everything is just perfect. But, you can be a real pain for your family and friends when the bridezilla in you turns intolerable. Let's check out some cool ways to handle this.
Relax! Take a deep breath. You can try yoga or simply meditate for 10 to 20 minutes daily. Sit with your eyes closed and listen to what your mind says. This not only makes your mind calm but also helps you focus on priorities. Spend some quality time with yourself. My time is not only about spas and beauty treatments. A good book or music can also bring you back on track. You can even book a premarital counselling along with your partner and discuss everything that bothers you, openly.
You can entrust your burden with the bridesmaids and other family members. It is obvious that you need to choose everything for yourself on your special day. Still, you can ask your friends to get your favourite white lilies for decoration as far as your bestie can figure out how a lily looks like. You can also share your decision making hassle with your man. Let him decide the food menu when you choose the venue.
3. Let It Go
A single wrinkle on your wedding gown, a small zit on your face or that misplaced flower in the bouquet will not matter at all. Wedding is nothing about all these. By the end, you will be with the love of your life. If something is not turning as you planned it, go with the flow. Just realise that some things doesn't matter. You don't need to run behind every minute detail. An unselected song played at the Sangeet will not affect your wedding by any means.
4. Plan Ahead
Procrastination can be your worst enemy at the time of wedding. Plan everything before hand and have alternatives ready for everything possible. Believe Me! You will look gorgeous and every eye will be on you.
5. Eat and Drink Healthy
Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. Drink a lot of water to make your body relax. Make sure your weight loss/ weight gain plan for wedding is not making you weak. Exercise daily for at least 20minutes. Avoid fatty and junk foods. Reduce oil intake and eat clean. Control your cravings as stress may make you eat more. Sweets can be kept aside exclusively for guests. You may not need to taste everything.
