The new girl at the college comes face to face with a group of hostile seniors, but she impresses them. One of the seniors from that gang later falls in love with her.
Well, we are not talking about the theme of any teen flick; this is the true love story of Don Varghese and Annes P Sunny. Their love could be easily confused with any campus movies you have seen, but love is strange and theirs started at the campus.
The above said story happened at the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and after a long courtship of 5 1/2 years; the couple tied the knot on September 12, 2016.
Well, here is a small account of the days which led to their holy matrimony.
The couple had a formal engagement function which was held on April 3. For which Annes wore a pretty Indian gown in raw silk which she bought from Kalyan, Kottayam, and Don wore formal bandhgala suit from Blackberrys.
The couple also had a Church ceremony at Kumarakom St. John Attamangalam Jacobite Church on August 21, and the bride wore a traditional lehenga from Jolly Silks, Kottayam, and Don wore a Mandarin collar suit from Jolly Silks.
The bride, who earlier worked as an HR executive in Muscat and has plans to try her hands at wedding planning, also took the additional role of wedding planner for her engagement and wedding.
She along with her friends arranged all the wedding decor and theme of the reception. The sumptuous meal by Banana Leaf A-la-carte caterers was one of the highlights of the function.
The couple also had a separate pre-wedding function 'madhuramveppu' on the eve of the wedding for which everyone wore the traditional Kerala style outfits. It was a fun filled function complete with music, dance, and merry making.
For her nuptials, on September 12 the bride dazzled in a pretty gown from the groom's own brand Whites and for the groom he wore a formal navy blue suit from Van Heusen.
The bride's makeup was done by her own mother who owns the La Femme beauty parlour at Kottayam.
As said earlier, the bride also took the role of the planner and designed and arranged the outfits for the 7 flower girls and the 12 bridesmaids based on the theme of the wedding - pink, purple and peach.
The church wedding was later followed by a lavish wedding reception held at the Hill Top Hotel in Cherthala.
The team Wedding Street wishes the happy couple all the happiness in the world.
