Bengali Bride's Dad Refused To Perform "Kanyadaan"

Unique Wedding is a hot trend!
Right after a couple chose a 'Modi-Rafale' Wedding card, a Bengali bride and her father decided to drop the idea of "Kanyadaan"
"Kanyadaan" is a Hindu Wedding ritual, where the father of the bride 'presents' his daughter to the groom. In which, passing over the responsibility of his daughter to the groom. 
Here, the father of the bride refused to perform "Kanyadaan" saying that, his 'daughter is not a property to be given away at a marriage'. 
Two women priests performed the rituals of this Wedding which broke many stereotypes. It reflects that our Indian Wedding fashion is escalating with unique features.
The news has gone viral in the social media. 
Asmita Ghosh, a Twitter user posted the news and appreciated the unique and radical idea behind this Wedding.
