This wedding dress looks absolutely stunning with intricate bead and lace details. The one problem with it is that you can’t wear it, but you can eat it! Yes, it is not a regular wedding gown it is a cake.

A London-based award-winning baker has created a unique cake in the shape of a priceless wedding gown. The ‘weddible’ dress which is made out of cake is made by award-winning cake sculptor Sylvia Elba. It weighs about 75 kg and is 170cm tall.

Three people had to work for about 300 hours to complete the life-size cake.

It has a fitted bodice a full skirt and has got intricate lace and beadings all made of fondant. They used two thousand edible wafer paper sheets and fondant to make the ruffles dress. For accessorizing the cake about 35 kg of fondant was used. It was glued to the cakes’ body using bottles of decorating liquid.

The cake will be exhibited at the Cake International exhibition in Alexandra Palace, London, on April 16.
