The wedding is the most special occasion of anyone’s life and everyone wants the best for this day; dresses, arrangements, functions and everything else to be just perfect. The most important thing that gets the maximum attention for both bride and groom are the looks. It is how you look that will add to the grace of your dress and the complete function. Every bride wishes to look nothing less than a fairy princess on her wedding day. Here’s a 7-day express plan that can help you dazzle on your wedding day.
Day7: Gear up your exercise routine for the last minute toning. This is not the ideal time to go for weight loss exercises; rather focus on toning and energetic exercises that help you get the healthy glow for your special bridal look.
Make sure you are done with your hair cut and color before the start of this last week before the wedding day. Experimenting drastically with your hair is not recommended by experts during the last week. Also, this is not a great time to try out the parlor your friend recommended. Stick to your regular parlor person who knows your skin texture and tone.
Day6: Give your skin a refreshing facial. Yes, experts recommend that facial should ideally be taken at least 6 days before the wedding for the glow to come to the face. A good facial will guarantee a vibrant looking healthy glow on your face. After the facial, all you have to do is stay away from the sun as much as possible and if necessary, use a sunscreen of at least SPF25 before stepping out.
Make sure you don’t indulge in chemical treatments such as lasers, peels etc… any chemical reaction at this time is not likely to heal before your big day, so better to avoid them.
Day5: Start cleansing your system with exfoliates to clear the skin from blemishes and clearing the dead cells. This is also a good time to use a hair mask to repair the damaged cuticles and induce vitality to your hair strands.
Day4: Make sure, no matter how tempting may be the pre-wedding celebrations, to stay away from excessive alcohol and salt. Both these ingredients help in water retention and thus cause bloating. Be strict on caffeine and sugar as well to avoid any kind of puffiness.
Day3: This is your time for scheduling appointments for wax and eyebrows, as you still have 4 days to go before the wedding and any kind of redness and irritation will go away before the D-day. Just 3 days before the wedding could be very stressful with all the celebrations, and last minute arrangements going on; this is the time to switch to yoga for relaxation and de-stressing exercises.
Decide on your hairstyle and instruct your stylist to be prepared with whatever is required to make it look perfect on your personality and dress.
Day2: This is the perfect time to get your manicure and pedicure done. It will avoid chipping and give them the adequate drying time too. Make sure you go to bed early on time to avoid any kind of dark circles. Make sure you run an eye on everything right from your wedding dress to your makeup kit; your footwear etc… to ensure nothing is goofed up at the last minute.
D-Day: Start your big day with an energetic and light breakfast to ensure you have the energy to go sail through this day smoothly. Keep calm and be positive, your state of mind will reflect on your face. Give your dress and makeup at least 3 hours of time, this will ensure you look your best for the biggest day of your life. At last, don’t forget to spray your favorite fragrance before leaving for the aisle for a mesmerizing beautiful bridal look.
Getting up on the wedding day morning and planning is not the key. Plan ahead and ensure that everything right from your hair to your attire to your makeup goes as per the plan and schedule. You can make your wedding day as memorable as you want. All it requires is a little effort from your side, which for sure one of the most important and cherished days of your life truly deserves.
