5 Things happy couples do a weekend!
The Monday to Friday schedule will be always a hectic one. You will be waiting for Friday evening to compensate for the week's pressure. Planning a weekend is tiring but at the same time fun. You can recharge your batteries and get ready for the next week. Weekends are special in the lives of couples because it is the only time they can be with each other. You should make maximum use of the weekends as it can be something that you can look forward to, every week.
#1 Cuddles Make Out and Sex!
More than sex, you have to give each other those tight hugs and long cuddles to feel each other's presence. Make out every time possible without time frames. Let it be on the sofa, table top in the kitchen or the dining table. Set yourself free in your pyjamas, bunny slippers and popcorns and be with each other. Physical intimacy is definitely a part of a romantic relationship which is inevitable.
#2 Get out and Explore
If you were on the couch for the whole two days last weekend with a coffee and book, make this weekend memorable by exploring the world. Long walks, cycling or drives, choose your mode of commutation and place. Say Goodbye to the monotony of routine. A swim in the lake or a walk in the park holding hands can bring back the fire in your life.
#3 Me Time and We Time
Happy couples give importance to both me time and we time. Compromising on any one can make things go wrong. Go for that parlour appointment or spa/massage with your partner. Lie on his lap to finish your favourite book. Watch your favourite web series in Netflix together. Go for movies of your choice alternatively. Cook your partner's favourite dish and order yours for home delivery.
#4 Reflect on the past week
Give a 30minutes time to each other on a Sunday night to discuss how the week went off. Discuss and share your happy and sad moments. Release your stress and concerns. This will help to reflect on the week that passed. This will allow you to understand what went wrong or what the area’s you should improve is. You can focus on your relationship last week, for more intense conversations.
#5 Look forward to the new week
If your weekend is well spent you will be a happy individual and couple who would look forward to the next week. You can plan on things to do over the week and tasks to be accomplished. Healthy couples acknowledge the realities of life, work together to reduce the stress and maximise the happiness.
