Top Five Bridal Mistakes That You Need To Take Care!
Have ever wondered 'OMG! Why did they look so bad in their wedding picture?', looking at any of your cousins, friends or your own parent's wedding albums? I know, sometimes in an effort to make the wedding picture perfect, you might end up making big blunders in the case of makeup. We, here have put together all the common bridal mistakes we all make so that you be aware of it and not make that mistake again taking care of it properly.
Mistake 1: Ayyo! I haven't taken my lipstick.
The wedding is a ceremony of long hours, continuous greetings, and zillion smiles which mean it's going to be a very tiring one. You, being the bride and centre of attraction need to be picture perfect and presentable all the time. For that, you need touch ups from time to time. Though you apply 12 hours or 24 hours decking items (they don't actually exist) and your make up artist would also say that the makeup will last for the whole day but it wouldn't even last for the evening. It usually loses the patina soon. So it's always good to carry a little blush and lipstick to save you from the washed away look in the photographs. Ask your bridesmaid to be a good one and carry those around you for an emergency. The emergency bridal beauty makeup kit is mandatory
Mistake 2: I cannot carry this on my head!
Those girls who cannot do the extreme updo's, french braid, puffy curls or the side wept hair then it would be better you don't do it because anything you are not comfortable shouldn't be tried on your wedding day. You can opt for these hairstyles. It's common that to look as desired, brides tend to overlook the discomfortthat particular hairstyle brings in. Do tell your hair artist to use minimal pins, sprays and gel that keeps the hair in place which can make you extremely strenuous. If you want to have fun at your wedding, choose a stylish but comfortable hairstyle.
Mistake 3: I look like a Zombie.
Sentimental person? Then you would surely cry at your wedding. Weddings are an emotional affair, and I am pretty sure teardrops would roll down your eyes and cheeks. But don’t let them play a spoilsport. Always wear waterproof Kajal and makeup. Make a good investment in your makeup items which are water-resistant no matter what brand you choose, be it the foundation, concealer, eyeliner or mascara. Always keep wet tissues and blotting paper as a precaution because you never know when the emergency outburst happens.
Mistake 4: 6 inches are a pain to us!
Never wear heels unless you are used to wearing it. Just because a heel would make you look tall and give you good shapes, you shouldn't wear it. I accept the fact that a glittering golden pair of heels is almost a vital part of an Indian bride but you should also know that long hours of the wedding can be hard on you. Opt for a heel that would be more comfortable and would look good on you. Don't forget to keep a pair of flats as an alternative. Your lehenga will for sure hide your legs for some time. If you have any plans to get on the dance floor then this tip is going to be a bit helpful for you. At the end of the day, you don't have to search for band-aids and cotton.
Mistake 5: Redness and patchy skin… Why??
You wish to look fresh and radiant on the D day, I know because it's every brides wish! But remeber if you go to salons at the last-minute makeovers such as cleansings, facials and clean ups just before the marriage then I would say a big NO to that. Your skin gets too sensative after all the chemicals and massages and soon after that if you deck yourself with heavy makeup will leave your skin get patchy and irritated. You would have heard and it's a well known fact that the glow of such salon treatments comes only after two to three days therefore it's always better if you do facials and cleansing 3-5 days prior to your wedding day and not hurry burry the day before.
