Jim Corbett National Park, the eco-tourist destination and the oldest national park in India, is located in the Nainital district. The national park includes many hills, streams, marshy grasslands and a lake. It is also the natural habitat of Bengal tigers, leopards and elephants.
Another must visit destination is the ski destination Auli. It is located about 8,200 ft above the sea level and is surrounded by oak and coniferous forests. The slopes of Auli are famous for skiing and it also offers cable car rides.
